Assistant Credit Officer
TRA SACCOS LTD is a registered Savings and Credit Co-operative
Society whose main objective is to mobilize savings from members and in
return provide credit facilities. TRA SACCOS LTD is an employee-based
Society which was established under the current governing
Co-operative Societies ACT no. 6 of 2013. Other objectives of the Society are to encourage thrift amongst members by educating the members the advantages of developing a savings behavior, proper management of money through proper investment best practices aimed at improving the social and economic conditions of the members. This is achieved by offering the members complementary savings schemes, credit facilities and other financial products as may be required by the members from time to time.
The Society is seeking to recruit qualified Tanzanian professionals to fill the following vacant;
Position: Assistant Credit Officer
Purpose of the position
To assist Credit Officer in receiving, reviewing, analyzing and recommending loans applications for approval.
Scope
'The Assistant Credit Officer will be reporting to the Credit officer and will be responsible for executing Society's credit activities.
Minimum educational and professional levels required for the position

Age Limits
The applicant must be of age between 30 - 40 years

- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Cooperative Management or equivalent certifications from recognized institutions.
- A minimum of 3 years related experience working with SACCOS/Micro-finance.
Skills, knowledge,-and capabilities required for the position
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, attention to detail with focus on quality and integrity.
- Strong oral and written communication with effective interpersonal and relationship management skills to engage individuals at all levels in the organization.
- High level of integrity and business acumen, including the responsibility to maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
- Ability to multi-task prioritizing and works under tight deadlines.
