Saccos Manager
TRA SACCOS LTD is a registered Savings and Credit Co-operative
Society whose main objective is to mobilize savings from members and in
return provide credit facilities. TRA SACCOS LTD is an employee-based
Society which was established under the current governing
Co-operative Societies ACT no. 6 of 2013. Other objectives of the Society are to encourage thrift amongst members by educating the members the advantages of developing a savings behavior, proper management of money through proper investment best practices aimed at improving the social and economic conditions of the members. This is achieved by offering the members complementary savings schemes, credit facilities and other financial products as may be required by the members from time to time.
The Society is seeking to recruit qualified Tanzanian professionals to fill the position of a Manager
Purpose of the position
To be in-charge of the overall leadership of the Society and responsible for the day-to-day management of the society's affairs.
Scope
The Manager will be reporting to the Chairperson and will be answerable to the Management Board of the Society.
Minimum educational and professional levels required for the position

Age Limits
The applicant must be of age between 35-45 years

Minimum educational and professional levels required for the position
- Master Degree in Co-operative Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or other related field of study from a recognized higher learning Institution.
- Managerial and Accounting experience of at least three (3) years.
- Must have practical computer working experience of Office Applications especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working experience in Micro-finance Institutions will be an added advantage.
